Overview

Cpia is an iOS app for personal price tracking and comparison, developed independently by a single developer. We take your privacy seriously and do not collect, store, or sell any personal information.

Data Storage

All data you create in Cpia (categories, products, prices, photos, etc.) is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded to any server.

• Data is saved in the app's sandboxed storage (UserDefaults / local file system).
• Backup and restore are managed entirely by you using the export/import feature. We have no access to your backup files.

Third-Party Service: Exchange Rate API

To support currency conversion, Cpia sends requests to ExchangeRate-API (exchangerate-api.com).

• Requests contain only a currency code (e.g. CNY). No user identifiers, device information, or personal data are included.
• This service is operated by a third party and is subject to their Terms of Service.
• You may optionally enter your own API key in Settings. It is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers.

In-App Purchases

Cpia offers a one-time purchase to unlock the full version. All payment processing is handled by Apple App Store. We do not have access to any payment or billing information.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers (IDFA / IDFV)
• Crash reports or usage analytics (no analytics SDK is included)
• Advertising or tracking data

Children's Privacy

Cpia is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will note them in the App Store release notes. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
